Flash is a graphics animation program, written and distributed by Adobe (former Macromedia), which utilizes vector and bitmap graphics. Flash files occur most commonly in animated advertisements, on web pages and rich-media web sites. To view them you must install Flash player plug-in (small plug-in for swift downloading) on your computer if it is not installed yet. However, according to the latest figures, over 97% of Internet-enabled desktops worldwide already support flash.

No basic knowledge of Flash is needed. All map functional options are located in the simple text config. file. You may use your favorite text editor to edit configuration files. Even the basic knowledge of HTML is enough to add our Flash Map to your website.

What is the Mapping Coverage of the USFlashMap Products?

We provide Flash maps for the USA, itemized down to counties, several world maps with clickable countries, cities and the advanced navigation tools.
The map of Europe is also available.
A map of any other country can be developed - if needed!

Where are the Maps Hosted?

After the purchase the flash map is downloaded to your web server and is hosted there.

Do You Supply Your Maps with Source Codes?

With some products we supply sources with others no. Generally those products which have 14 days trial version we supply without FLA files.

Are You Able to Link the Map with My Own Application or Database?

Yes, we can integrate the flash map with the database of any type, and with any other application through the server-side scripts (PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, PERL, Pyton, etc.).

Actually any flash application could not work with a database directly. Flash animation always launches on the client computer the same as Java Script. But all operations with a database always perform on server side. This is why database connectivity is achieved in the interaction between a flash movie on the client's side and scripts on the server's side.

How Can I Print a Map from the Screen?

To print out a map from the screen right click the mouse and choose the print option from the toolbar.
