Approach

Real Estate Flash mapping opens a new era in presenting geospatial data in the internet. The technology is a superset of several conceptual theoretical and applied areas of research: Geo Information technologies, understanding real estate business processes, rich media over the internet, vector-based metadata formats, database administration, and distributed model architecture. Enormous arrays of GIS data and Internet user expectations on the other hand, require new algorithms and technical implementation.

There could be different implementations of Real Estate Maps, to name a few: Residential Properties, Commercial Properties, Resort Properties, Apartments, Property Search, Corporate Housing, Roommates, Truck Rentals and many more.

Development

• It is impossible to trace a bitmap image and then get a reasonable file size because of the presence of too many vertexes.
• It is also impossible to import maps from GIS software formats, like MapInfo and ESRI, without serious optimization, as they are very large.
• It is impossible to draw geometry manually, as it would take much time for a flash developer to design even a simple map. How do we do that?

We simply prove the maps have a great R.O.I. and everybody loves them. Real Estate maps in flash are superior to the bitmap image maps used as alternative on most websites.
