Case Usage

Flash CalendarPro can fulfill most of the planing tasks and used for various purposes. Here are just basic ideas how you can benefit from the calendar:

Personal Calendar. Use CalendarPro on your blog, personal website to imprint the most memorable events in your life: trips, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Use the repeat feature to record them for the next 10 years.

Business Calendar. Use Calendar Pro as an informing tool to publish your schedule  and timetables (meetings, gym sessions, concerts, studies at university, etc)

Corporate Calendar. You can use CalendarPro on your intranet as a planning tool to manage projects, set deadlines and show milestones, etc. Every company member can have their own login to the administrative mode and modify events, or have only resticted access to events management.

Scheduling Calendar. You can integrate the calendar with your scheduling services and allow calendar viewers choose the most appropriate timeline for an appointment and save the appointment summary directly on the website.

How It Works

Calendar Pro can be placed directly on the web page or inserted into any flash movie as MXP component. Running with any web scripting language and platforms like .NET, ASP, JSP, PHP, etc, Flash Calendar allows a wide site integration option.

Besides other features, Interactive Calendar enables the front-end user to view the list of events by different time periods, filter the events by type, switch from one type of events to another, and search event details. The number of events and groups is unlimited. Events can be assigned a category and then filter your activities by this specific category. Each category can have its own color, font and text size. Define the eventsto repeat weekly, monthly or yearly. Enhance events with descriptions and multimedia and promote your events online.

Minimized View

Flash CalendarPro has now two main views: Minimized View and Full View.

You can place calendar's minimized view into a small area on your website or a sidebar in your blog and connect it to another webpage where Full view is available. Once a date in the minimized view is clicked the small calendar transforms into Full View on another webpage where you can browse by day, search events, view event details, etc.

Interface Changes

Though the provided examples are selected up to color palette, you can customize the colors to fit your webpage layout. Whether it will be your personal blog, the company site or information portal, you can easily adjust calendar look to meet your needs. You can even create gradient navigational buttons with individual link shapes, by using Aqua mode.

Calendar Event Views

Flash Calendar Pro provides great flexibility in the displaying of your information. There are several built in display formats to choose from. Schedule your appointments in daily, monthly or yearly views. And now List and Print Views are available. Each and every view type is customizable through the Admin panel or XML file. Configure your default look and feel how the visitors will see it.

Calendar Administration

CalendarPro application consists of three constituents:

• Public CalendarPro;
• Configuration and data files (or dynamic data source: DB Connector, API);
• Administrative Mode to manage events.

Public CalendarPro is the end-user calendar with all your configurations ready-to-be used.

Administrative Mode is a separate module for events management. It is fully dynamic and allows creating/modifing/deleting events and their details (description, time, categories, locations, images, etc).

XML files are the primary data storage format. However, their structure allows connecting the calendar to a database, update the calendar dynamically. For database integration contact us.

Installation and Localizations
