Administrative Mode

Flash Calendar Pro has an administrative mode that allows managing events directly on your website and saves the changes in events.xml file for further reference. You make all the changes directly in the calendar.

Add New Events

You can create new events on the following views: Month, Week and Day Views. After you click an empty space, a pop-up window with event details appears. Here you can provide all event details: Title, Date, Description, Time parameters, as well as upload an image and give a link to a website or some other resource for further reference.

To save the changes, simply click Ok button. Now the event is visible in your public calendar.

Category Modifications

Event categorization is a useful feature if you want to differentiate events by their type, make search easier to the viewers, as well as smarten up your calendar. In the admin mode you can both create new categories and assign already existing categories to your event.

The pop-up with category specifications allows you to change the following: name of the location, the hint of the location on mouse-over and its color, with which the events belonging to this category are represented.

Event Description

Admin mode provides all possibilities of the fullest description of events. Admin mode provides an opportunity of choosing one of the existing locations or categories to an event as well as creating new locations that you might be using in the future. You can also provide a description of your event, upload an image to it and offer a link for further reference. All this is manipulated with your cursor in Drag-and-Drop method.
